A-tone Bishop on The Morning Blend: TMJ4

A Way Forward MKE is a community organization, mostly made up of performing artists, community organizers, and a volunteer board of directors.

Performing Artists include singers, authors, and especially poets whom are great at other things, for example, Kerric Stephens (Poet & Actor;) Adwoa Asentu (Poet & Artist;) Yo Shorti, (Poet, Singer & Rapper.)

Director, A-tone Bishop was given an opportunity to partner AWF MKE with an organization named “Voices Heard” whose Director, Ross Bigley is the Lead Organizer for the Mke Short Film Festival.

Earlier today, these two interviewed on Today’s TMJ4, Morning Blend with Molly Fay and Tyler Mader.

AWF MKE will feature 4 Milwaukee poets during the Mke Short Film Festival. Kerric Stephens, A-tone Bishop, Jessica Lyn & Adwoa Asentu will perform during a poetry performance segment scheduled just before the showing of the films selected to be part of this event.

"It's an absolute honor to have been a guest on the Morning Blend, I look forward to getting the news out more and more; until every neighborhood is saturated with good news that we have"

Starting with poetry and moving on to things like dance, film, theater, music, and art. This includes workshops, events, and services for creative professionals.

To gain more support, AWF MKE is launching its Milwaukee Conference,  1st Saturday’s in December of 2019.
